Here it is!
Your Feel Good Framework:
Wherever you are on your path, every day, every moment, is a chance to begin again.
Whatever happened last month is now in your past. Take a moment to celebrate your wins and then get excited about living in the now.
This month I am giving you two tools that will help you feel your best and focus on what is really important to you right now.
Read on to learn how to use them and why they are so impactful.
Tool #1
Feel Good Framework
Fill out the 5 categories to get clear and aligned with what you really want (and need) this month.
-
Movement
Physical activities that will support your mind and body.
-
Food
Recipes and ingredients that will nourish you. Consider what is in season, what will feel energizing, and what sounds satisfying.
-
Self-Care
Actions, routines, appointments, or activities that will help you take care of yourself this month.
-
Self-Talk
Words, affirmations, mantras, or ideas that will support, guide, ground, or inspire you.
-
Intentions
Create 1-3 aligned, attainable, and authentic goals or focus points.
Tool #2
Habit Tracker
Doing something for 7, 21, or 30 days is great.
But as I’m sure you know, it is what you do, consistently, over time, that will lead to real transformation.
Eating a piece of cake at the party is just a piece of cake at the party. However, you might start to feel a change in your health and wellbeing if you eat cake 3 meals a day for 6 months…
Going to a spin class once every 3 months is great. But, doing 30 minutes of brisk walking 5 days a week over 6 months can change your life! It can prevent chronic disease, keep your heart healthy, improve brain function and help you reach a new level of health and happiness…
You get where I’m going with this, yeah?
It’s easy to lack consistency when you are busy, pulled in many directions, navigating the ups and downs of life.
But I want you to stay on track with the changes you are hoping to make,
the life you want to build,
and the way you want to feel and show up every day.
I want to help you on your path to your healthiest, happiest self.
The path where you are actually doing the things that make you feel good. Actually honoring what you deeply desire.
So, print out the Habit Tracker, and fill it with a few habits that emerge after completing your Feel Good Framework.
Why use the Habit Tracker?
Tracking your habits will create more awareness for you. Self-awareness is the root of change.
Tracking your habits will create accountability for you to prioritize and actually show up for yourself.
Checking things off is fun! It will give you that little dopamine hit and positive reinforcement to keep going.
Three tips for habit tracking:
Use curiosity
Approach it objectively. If you write down a habit you want to implement but notice its frequency is way lower than you had hoped, don’t judge yourself. Instead, get curious.
Have a plan
Decide in advance when you will check things off based on your schedule and what works best for you. (After dinner? Right before bed? Throughout the day?)
Make it easy
Keep your tracker somewhere you can easily access it and see it daily. (For example, on your desk, bulletin board, fridge, etc.)
By tracking your habits this month, I am encouraging you to actually show up for yourself and your intentions, consistently.
