“Emily really helped me tune into my own intuition to heal.

That meant paying attention to the tests & the doctors protocols, while learning to trust MYSELF so that I could find balance. At the time, I was really all or nothing, when that just wasn't realistic or fun for me. Being able to tackle these basic things allowed us to quickly dig deeper into allll the other health things: anxiety, work guilt, relationships, establishing a consistent workout routine, etc.

It feels like talking to a friend. She is so good at holding space, listening, and providing validating / insight / ideas. I loved that she was able to share pieces of her own personal journey at times too — I honestly find it a little unsettling when you don't know anything about the person coaching you so this was a breath of fresh air and made the experience feel very human, personal, and again, validating.

My favorite part of the coaching experience has been seeing how I've grown in the last 6 months together because we started talking about food and ended on things that are like, way bigger than food haha. I guess I was surprised by just how much deeper we were able to get! As a certified health coach myself (albeit not a practicing one) I did knowwww this from getting certified, but it was cool to really see and experience it!

“Before working with Emily I felt like I had no balance in my life. I was fatigued, stressed, and in pain.

I had no routines and spent most of my days feeling like I was scrambling to stay on top of everything and never prioritizing self care. My emotional eating had caused me to gain a lot of weight and my lack of movement was exacerbating my chronic pain. 

Emily guided me to make intentional choices that felt right for me and my body and didn't make me feel like I was punishing or denying my body or mind things. My physical energy improved a lot and my emotional energy shifted to being more positive and relaxed.

“I feel so much better it is hard to express how helpful working with Emily during this process has been.


Before working with Emily I was having autoimmune issues including pain in my hands and feet, and I had a bowel blockage that was causing severe pain, bloating and constipation. No matter what I tried I could not get regular. I felt pretty awful. My body hurt much of the time, and when I got a blockage it was very painful and frightening. I could not hold a pencil due to hand pain. 

Since working with Emily I have been regular 95% of the time, I have much less abdominal swelling. I can hold a pencil and more importantly, do hand embroidery. 

She reminded me of progress I had made and gave me great suggestions when I was feeling frustrated. 

My goals were to reduce inflammation in my body in the hope that my hands and guts would work better. Now I know what foods make me feel good and which ones to avoid. I have never felt better. I have more energy, I sleep better and I am eating whole foods, very little processed and I can feel the difference. Since I was doing this my husband went along for the ride and eventually my sister. They both say they feel so much better. My husband and my sister both lost over 20 pounds and they also have much less daily pain.
