Sunflower seed butter and peanut butter have joined forces to create these simple and satisfying cookies.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsweetened creamy sunflower seed butter

  • ½ cup unsweetened creamy peanut butter (room temperature / runny)

  • 1 egg

  • ¾ cup coconut sugar

  • 1 tsp maple syrup

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • sea salt (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Mix together all ingredients.

  • Scoop (use a spoon, tablespoon, or small ice cream scoop) and roll dough into balls. Place them on the baking sheet.

  • Using a fork, flatten cookies, leaving fork marks in one direction.

  • Bake in the oven for 9-12 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes and then place on a cooling rack. Sprinkle with sea salt (optional).
