Strawberry sauce
A sweet topping without any added sugar!
What are the health benefits of strawberries?
Strawberries are an excellent source of vitamin C and fiber! They contain antioxidants, phytonutrients and flavonoids. Strawberries help boost immunity and reduce inflammation!
Ingredients
2 cups strawberries
1 tbsp water
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
In a small saucepan heat strawberries and water on medium heat for 10-15 minutes. Stir frequently.
Mash up strawberries with a fork, potato masher, or use an immersion blender.
Once your desired consistency is reached, remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
